Fawn Medesha is an award-winning artist and photographer who resides in Tempe, Arizona. She spent most of her childhood drawing and painting domestic and wild animals during the long winters in Alaska. She learned photography from her husband which she met during her years at ASU. She contributes to a variety of philanthropic projects and travels the world in search of her next interesting subject. She is motivated to capture the plight of endangered animals to attract attention and create interest in conservation. Her home always has the pitter patter of small paws from her three chihuahuas.
